Sometimes to get more out of life, you have to make more of yourself.

Director Harold Ramis, of Ghostbusters fame brings us this tale of a solution to busy modern life.
Doug Kinney (Michael Keaton) is a busy man. Not only does he work for a highly successful construction company, he also has a working wife to fit into his life and a house to run. When it all becomes too much, he visits an experimental laboratory and gets himself cloned. As life becomes easier for him, however, things get busier. Enter another clone. And then one of the clones gets himself cloned and life is suddenly a nightmare.

Silly idea, but quite a lot of fun actually, probably as Michael Keaton manages to pull it off superbly, acting "beside" himself for the majority of the film. The third clone who "isn't quite there" is inspired. Backed up well by Andie McDowell as wife Laura, this is almost a one-man show from Keaton, and though not a "gutbuster", it is mostly funny enough to keep you watching to the last gasp.

Gentle humour for the most part, and nothing extraordinary, but good entertainment overall. DJY

BEST QUOTE: Doug Kinney #3: You know how when you make a copy of a copy, it's not as sharp as... well... the original.
